Popcorn2 macOS — portable testing build

Requires macOS Tahoe 26 or later and an Apple Silicon Mac (arm64).
Copy Popcorn2 macOS.app to ~/Applications/Popcorn2 macOS.app (or /Applications)
and keep that installation path for future updates. Quit the previous app,
replace it at the same path, and launch the installed copy. This package is signed
with a stable certificate but is not notarized or an App Store distribution.
If macOS blocks this testing build, use System Settings > Privacy & Security >
Open Anyway after attempting to open it, then follow the confirmation shown.

Choose Local Production in Settings when using the same LAN as the Popcorn
server. A remote computer needs a reachable configured server; Local Production
does not mean a server is running on that computer. Allow local-network access
when macOS asks for it.

Users upgrading from an older ad-hoc testing build sign in once in this build.
The old credential store is preserved. Future portable builds must use the
same signing certificate and bundle identifier to retain secure session access.
Do not delete Keychain entries or disable platform security to install updates.

Only the compiled app, this guide, and nonsecret build provenance are packaged.
No account, session, token, downloaded media, or user settings are included.
Build logs and source checksums remain alongside the ZIP on the build computer.
